Saelemaekers ute med ankelskade – alvorlig skade utelukket

Alexis Saelemaekers måtte avbryte treningen på Milanello etter å ha pådratt seg en skade i høyre ankel. Undersøkelser viste at belgieren har fått en forstuing, men Milan kan samtidig puste lettet ut: det er ikke påvist beinskade eller skade på leddbåndene. Saelemaekers’ tilstand vil nå bli vurdert fra dag til dag. Onsdag var ankelen fortsatt hoven og smertefull, og spilleren hadde startet behandling på Milanello. Håpet er at han kan være tilbake i lagtrening i løpet av neste uke, men det er foreløpig usikkert om han blir klar til Serie A-kampen mot Sassuolo 11. oktober. For Milan er det uansett positive nyheter at undersøkelsene ikke viste noen alvorlig skade.
