Could Adidas return to AC Milan?
Speculation over AC Milan’s future kit supplier has intensified following new information reported by Footy Headlines. According to the outlet, Adidas has secured a major new long-term partnership in Italian football, with an announcement expected sometime in 2027. However, the identity of the club involved has not yet been revealed. The report has inevitably sparked speculation about AC Milan. The Rossoneri have a long history with Adidas, which supplied the club during several different periods and most recently from 1998 until 2018. That 20-season partnership ended before Puma took over as Milan’s technical supplier in the summer of 2018. Milan and Puma remain partners today. In 2022, the two parties announced a long-term extension of their relationship, and Puma continues to serve as the club’s official technical supplier during the current season. There is therefore no confirmation that the newly reported Adidas agreement involves AC Milan. At this stage, Milan’s name is part of the speculation rather than a confirmed development. Still, a future return of the Three Stripes would reunite Milan with one of the most recognizable technical partnerships in the club’s modern history. Adidas back on the Milan shirt? For now, it remains only a possibility — but one worth keeping an eye on.
