Amorim: “I feel a great responsibility to help Milan return to where the club belongs”

Rúben Amorim has spoken about the responsibility he feels as Milan coach and his ambition to build the club for both the present and the future. “I feel a great responsibility: to help this club return to the place where it belongs.” Amorim stressed that the project is about more than short-term results. “We are trying to help Milan not only for today, but also for the future. Every move we make is looking ahead.” At the same time, the mentality regarding results remains clear. “The first thing is to win every game. That is our mentality. In the end, we will make all the calculations.” Speaking about the transfer market, Amorim said he is satisfied but also highlighted the importance of developing the players already at the club. “I’m happy, but we also have to improve the players we already have.” The Portuguese coach also made clear how much the opportunity at Milan means to him. “Milan was the right choice. Everything I have been through in my career, I went through to reach this point, at this special club.”
